Autumn/Winter Essentials

WOOOO! Our first photoshoot of the calendar year is here! As the days get colder, sky gets darker and wind gets stronger, we felt it was only right for us to give you our take on Autumn/Winter essentials.

Our first essential is Tartan!! A print that always fits well for A/W, tartan is the fashion statement.
Tips:
  • Pair your tartan item with darker colours such as black and grey. Every person, male or female, has to own a pair (maybe 3) of black jeans! Or if you're really living life on the edge then they're ripped!
  • Have fun with your clothes and play around with textures like a shaggy fur gilet! Gilet's are the perfect wardrobe pieces that are great for layering, all whilst looking fabulous!
  • Tartan shirts are definitely in at the moment, but if you don't want to wear it the conventional way, it also looks good tied around the waist!
  • If you're feeling sassy, add a floppy hat and straight line coat. Or you can always go for a knitwear scarf!

Another great piece for A/W are hats! Whether you're going for an edgy look, retro look or avoiding any possibility of cold ears... hats accommodate for everything!!
Tips:
  • fedora hat is one of our favourite looks for any season, but especially A/W. It literally goes with almost any outfit. If you're stuck on what to pair you chunky shoes and mom jeans with (or you're just having a bad hair day) throw on a fedora and a little bit of an edge.
  • Whilst looking stylish is great, essentially we all want to keep warm as temperatures drop... so grab yourself a nice fur hat. You could even incorporate the colour of the hat into your outfit. Here, we've used grey (the IT colour at the moment) as our base colour and played around with shades. Plus heeled boots and ripped jeans make every outfit that much nicer.
  • If you're not one for fedora's or fur hats, then you can't go wrong with a good old beanie! Perfect for any casual outfit, a beanie looks great and keeps your head warm. Denim jackets, as always (hen won't they be!), are on trend (when won't they be!) and are great for layering.
